My husband has switched job in January2011.He has not got form 16 from the previous company.Only proof of income from prev company is bank entry.But the present company details with form 16 is available. Please tell me if i can use the bank statement as proof of income for prev company.Also tell me while efiling how to submit form 16 and tax if any payable can be paid online.Please assisst

WHILE E FILE YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTACH ANY OTHER DOCUMENT. U HAVE TO JUST FILE THE RETURN,
NO NEED OF ANY PROOF IN E FILING
Dear maam you need not attach any documents to file the income tax return online.
Since the previous employer has not given Form 16 you can check the how much TDS he has deducted and deposited in form no.26AS online after login in https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do
You can pay taxes online on https://onlineservices.tin.nsdl.com/etaxnew/PopServlet?rKey=1998888096
