I have a query related to belated cheque of refund recieved in A.Y. 2006-07.
If a individal assessee recived a chaeque of refund for the A.Y. 2006-07.but he didnt deposit it for unavoidable reason..can he get the amount of refund in current A.Y.
If yes then how?
Write a letter to AO officer of your ward regarding re-valid your refund cheque.
YES, HE WILL GET REFUND....WRITE A REVALIDATION LETTER TO ASSESSING OFFICER AND ATTACH SUCH EXPIRED CHECK ALONGWITH IT.... YOU WILL GET BENEFIT OF IT..
