Refund of Income Tax

As per my research, If the return filed by the taxpayer is found to be accurate and has a refund claim, the refund is issued to the taxpayers. Generally, the credit of refund process takes about 20-45 days from the date of e-verification of the income tax return.

It may take time ranging from 10 days to 6 months. Generally small refund amount returns are processed faster. 

Income Tax Refund status is to check whether one has received Income Tax Refund or not. However, one must ensure whether the IT return is processed by the officer or not, Refund will not get processed without the process of the IT Return. Maybe it will take 30-40 Days.
