Refund of income tax

Sir, one of our client filed his income tax return for the A.Y 2010-11 as on 04/08/2013 and he claimed refund amount of 62000/-. On 30/03/2015 the client has been expired and till date he didn't receive refund amount Now what procedures need to be perform for receive refund amount by his wife. please also specify the relevant sec. and circulars.

Procedure for appointment of Legal Heir should be completed under 'My Request' tab on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.

After addition as Legal Heir, please write a letter to the A.O along with indemnity bond to disburse the Refund amount on name of the Legal Heir.

The A.O might demand 'Legal Heir Certificate'.
