hey all, i have a family member , who being a teacher has received a refund order for A.Y. 2009-10 & 2010-11.
Since he was not known of the fact that bank acct no. is to be mentioned on the return, now we are unable to get the refund, though intimation u/s 143(1) have been received for both years and it is satisfactory.
I am unable to decide whether
1. to take a follow up of the refunds from the income tax office.
OR
2. send a hand written/typed letter to the ITO mentioning the facts
OR
3. or some prescribed form exists for the purpose
