Refund itr

Any reason provided......... for delay in release order?

Now a days it usually takes 7 to 10 days to credit the refund amount to bank account.

But if refund is more than 50K.... it comes by post as cheque....... which takes little more time.

It may be because of heavy rush on the system........... so wait and watch. Once order is passed you are sure to get refund (after deduction of any outstanding demand)

Dear sir, I would like to ask again for help. I got intimation u/s143(1). Tax has already been deducted in advance as it is mentioned in form 16 too. But his calculation didn't mention my paid tax in advance. That's why according to intimation I have to pay tax, whereas tax has already paid in excess due to which I have to file itr for return. My form 26AS is totally blank. What should I do.

Whether form 16 is downloaded from TRACES?

If yes, then the tax credit must reflect in form 26AS.

When it doesn't reflect in 26AS......... means the employer has issued certificate but the amount has not been paid to treasury or it has been credited to some other PAN.

So, get clarification from your employer about the tax deducted and/or get it rectified to your PAN.
