Reference books for as along with ifrs, for nov'16

I have my attempt in Nov'16 and would like to start and finish the AS asap, with understanding as well as revision pov.

Can i get some suggestions for reference book for AS with IFRS for self study, between these 2 authors(only).

1.MP Vijay Kumar  or   2.DS Rawat

PS: I'm skeptical about MPV's book because of too much detailed (not-so-relevant) information provided by him in his book, from the Final examination pov.
