Rectification of assessment year in self assessment tax paid challan

Hi experts,

While paying self assessment tax for the FY 21-22 assessment year was wrongly selected as AY21-22  instead of AY 22-23 and tax has been paid and return (ITR-1) was filed before due date. Later on it was  realized that AY was wrongly selected.

Is there any option available for on line correction of challan ?? How to rectify this error. Please advise.

You may apply for manual correction before your jurisdictional officer.
