please guide me how to write rectification letter to the Income tax department. bcoz. f.y.2007-08 tds deducted but not shown in the form 26AS.

help me.

write a letter addressing appropriate authority, for TDS deduction for that amount and that one was not shown in 26AS and also attached the TDS Certificate with letter.

Write a Letter to your Assesssing Officer mentioning that your TDS had been deducted and not been shown in 26AS, hence consider the same and allow the refund .

Further attach a copy of form 16 or 16A  as a tds deduction proff along with your acknowledgement of your ITR.
