my ITR of AY 18-19 processed and intimation u/s 143(1) received in which 80D deduction restricted to 25000 against 55000 claimed resulting into demand from Department.
What should be done as rectification request for AY 18-19 is not active on website

This year rectification request link is not activated so far....... you may file revised return; or wait for rectification link to get activated by CPC.
But check whether you are eligible for the said deduction.......
If, yes........ the reason for non-acceptance in original return........
