i am doing articleship last one year. For 9 months i worked in a concurrent bank audit.. then after...there is no audit related works....doing usual office accounts work.....so no scope of work at all.
As ICAI announced new rules reg. termination of articleship, i am not in a position to terminate the articleship.... and rejoin within 50 km.
For the above reason , can i terminate the artcleship... please reply

why dont u go and discuss this with the icai official
he/she will surely accept ur form 109
there is also written that apart from these two reasons if a person wants a transfer than he should explain his genuinety of transfer
icai is not hitlar to make a rule restricting from transfer
if u are a genuine person looking for better work prospects or working conditions there is always a scope of discussing them with icai official personaly
and then if they are satisfied they will let u transfer
Yeah You can File Form 120 to ICAI with genuine reasons & attach some supporting to it.
You r rite Vimal but they had to stop the dummies & provide the CA of backward areas with enough articles as in the cities.

ICAI should initiate steps to ensure a ca student to get both book knowledge and practical knowledge..

u are right about this.....although i wonder when will ICAI understand this.....i also have a similar problem karthi.....bt i'm not very sure whether the ICAI will consider this as a genuine reason.

i did my articleship for 8 months. i got signed form109 from my previous auditor on 27-04-2009. now i need to submit the form. are there any other forms required to submit???
is form 120 necessary???
No u dont require form 120 once u have submitted form 109.

yeah u r absolutely right...icai should see to this..the articles r really been USED in a wrong manner..

my attempt is due on nov'09.but my CA has askd me to continue my damn training till sept end n if i dont go 2 office he will show my 2mnths leave which i hv previously taken as i was suffering 4m jaundice. this is my 16th mth in d offc n i really dont knw wat 2 do nw.
today mrng he has given me a call nd hs told me to take transfer if i cant cum 2 offc. i hv jst enquired frm d instt if i can tk trnsfer nw or not. but hard luck those rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plz suggst asap.......thanx
