RCM of transportation expenses
if the recipient or supplier paid to transportation expenses then if transporter are not registered then required to pay RCM by such supplier or recipient yes or not? if yes then give me HSN code or tax rate..

Rcm is to be done when Transporter is GTA, issue bilty/consignment note & as per notification 5/2017 CT , GTA are exempted to obtain registration.
No matter if GTA is URD , the RCM is to be done by recepient .
HSN 9962, Rate 5%
