RCM 713 views 12 replies

If our employee eats Rs 300 snacks from URD during tour in a day, will his claim need company to pay GST as RCM? Won't the rule of Rs 750 limit apply for non taxable cash expenditure?

No RCM on B2BUR up to Rs.5000 per day
RCM is applicable on purchase above rs5000 from unregistered

so, to take it broadly, marketing persons in the field making expenses like - chai, snacks, auto rikshaw, bribe to TC for train ticket, water bottle etc claimed as tour expense in single reimburesement of say Rs 2750/- will not make company liable to pay any GST and simply reimburse him and take in accounts the expenses.

Yes you can do it.
But, Rs. 5000 only available in A day. In case any other expenses ll be doing your staffs or company it's total is not exceeding Rs. 5000
@ everyone..if for example I have 5 staff and each are making expense of 3000 in a day..so in this case, what shall I do?? do I take it in cumulative way i.e. Rs.15000 or limit is Rs. 5000/day/person.

We pay Rs 15000/- to a watchman, who is old man and doesnt have GST etc. We give him payment by chq of his name. So, under GST - shall we have to pay GST as RCM?

Employee service to Employer not fall under GST
You ll appoint the Watchman under your company it's also he is the employee. If he is coming from any one of the security services and the security services can't register under GST. Then you ll be fall under RCM.

(You are two queries in two different forum....?!)

Answering Jigar question

@ Ankit - 5000 is per day per company! not person.

All expenses in one day....
not person to person....
