Rate of depreciation of invertors & battery as per it act

Company is using invertors in its office. Under which head will it appear, Office Equipments, Plant & Machinery or Furniture & fixture? What is the rate of depreciation of the invetors & batteries as the Income Tax Act?

Inverters and batteries are treated as plant and machinery under the Income Tax Act and depreciated at 15 percent using WDV method. Some views allow batteries as expense, but generally both are capitalised.

Inverter depreciation rate 15%

Batteries can be debited to profit and loss a/c.

 as per income tax act Depriciation allowed on invertors and battery @ 15 % becoz invetors and bettery  treated as plant and machinery .

Is It Depreciated Under SLM Or WDV Method.

Please Replay ASAP.

As per Income Tax Act, it will be depreciated using WDV method
