Rank 20 Marks 403/800 that means 438 passing students have..

It may be possible that they have cleared group wise. As i cleared 1st grp last time with 213 marks and 2nd grp this time with 217 marks , so in total i got 430 out of 800. So this may be the case with others too.

icai does not award rank to a student which have marks lower than 55 %

What Ravi said is correct, No merit or rank will be awarded if marks are below 55%

and this is absolutely correct fact that if anybody has lesser than 55% then no rank shall be awarded 

 confuse kar raha hain yaar !!

You people forgot following two categories of people:

1. Those who have cleared both group in this attempt but having exemption in 1 or more papers from previous attempts...

2. People who've scored less than 55%.

Above two people, even if they have passed both group this time, will not be considered for rank. And this time, due to tough results, most of the students fall in the above two categories.

And as far as i heard, there are only 6 ranks this time in Final (Old) Course.. This is because the 7th person's total is below 440. i.e. 55%.

So if someone says u he got 403 and also a rank, he is nt correct. Coz after 55%, ICAI does not give ranks.
