It is said that budget for the year in which elections are going to be held will be presented after the formation of the new governmnent. Then why for the year 2014 the budget was presented before the elections.

This is interim budget. This budget is vote on account budget unlike regular budget. The interntion behind is, to kept going the present situation as normal without the effect of change in Government.
Hey Imran thanx yaar. But can you please throw some light on how will this interim budget help in keeping the situation normal... Forgive me if i am asking a silly doubt because i am not that much knowledgable...
