I am planning to start selling on Meesho. I reside in Delhi and will be operating my business entirely from here. However, I cannot arrange ownership proof for my Delhi address, which is required for GST registration.
I can arrange ownership proof for another residential address in Uttar Pradesh though I will not be operating my business from there.
My question is:
Can I register the UP address as my principal place of business on GST portal, even though the actual business operations (purchasing/selling) will happen from Delhi?
