Yes you have to show interest income from saving bank account in your income tax return. But As per section 80TTA of income tax you will get deduction up to Rs. 10000 in case of Bank Saving account interest. Means if your bank interest is up to Rs 10000 there will be no tax liablity on such income.

Thank you for your response Manish. Bank interest amount is 49,000 and bank kas deducted 4900 rupees as interest. Please let me know what value should I put in Income from Other sources?

You have to show Rs 49000 as income from other source and show it in interest from saving account in other source column and claim 4900 as TDs amount and and 10000 rs as deduction u/s 80TTA

Yes you have to select self assessment tax and a.y 2016-17. And pay your tax before 31st July otherwise there will be interest charged on you.
