I am doing IPCC and going to write exams in may 2012 ..Can anyone advice me how to study amendments in income tax+VAT+service tax and do we have to study previous years amendments also?

dear you can refer amendment books issued by ICAI
it wl be of great use and no such other amendment books need to refer
Agree with amit.... Btw if u buy updated book then it will cover all amendments...
U should read recent amendment book bcz it keeps u give more concentration on current changes which are frequently askd in exam.....
get refrense from ICAI it will help u alot best of luck for you examination student education loans
