I am also anxiously awaiting for a chance to file itr for 21-22 Asst years as two returns are pending, any help will be appreciated.

If possible , visit your AO or ITO to file valid returns

Now it is a time of faceless regime as you cannot meet with ITO as you do not know who is your ITO. What you have to do is go to your IT account through ID & PW. Then go to compliance and check the notice Dept had definitely had sent by now. Therein you have to write your appeal to open the window of the Return submission. Alternatively, you may meet the PRO of the respective region of ITDept for guidance.

But ITR will not be valid unless it is filed under approval

You may file in response to notice under section 148 or 142(1) . Get this notices if possible either electronically or manually

You don't have to do anything for getting the notice. Just wait till you get it.
