Query for articleship transfer
I have joined my articleship on 04/10/2021 and due to some financial issues I had taken the transfer to my hometown on 24/12/2021 but did not get registered with my new principal as I am also pursuing B.com and my college is in Indore and I am currently working in my hometown as my exams are over, now I want to take transfer from 25/12/2021. Please tell me can I get a back dated transfer. If yes then what is the procedure?

ICAI does not support back-dating registrations to fill gaps in service. If you stopped training in 2021 and did not register elsewhere, that time is likely considered a break in service. You should contact the ICAI helpdesk via e-Sahaayata to clarify how to regularize your current status before attempting to re-register.
