i have query that father gift the property to daughter . father hold hthe property for last 10 years.

dauther want to sold this property now and and gift deed is before one week.

then while calculating the capital gain indexation use for cost of aquisition.

or capital gain is calculating in the hand of daughter is short term or long term.

if purchase value : 500000

gift deed value : 2500000

sale value : 3500000.

I have failed in ca final second group with 195 marks.I want to appear only for second group in Nov13.I have applied for verification of my marks.With verification if I pass second group can transfer my fees to 1 st group.

One of our client purchased a house in 2013 and paid service tax for constrction of house. Currently the same residential house is let out. Can we take the credit of ST paid on construction against ST liability arising from rental income of same house.
