A director can hold directorship in max.20 cos (may be reduce by members by passing special resolution), In which Max.10 in public co.(deemed public -Subsidiary of Public co)

Hi Shailesh, Note that for the purpose of counting this 200 number, we should not include present and former employees who are also members. Moreover, more than two persons who own shares jointly are treated as a single member. The above two are exceptions to the max limit of 200. So, the above two members are not included in the 200 Limit.
