what are the latest prudential norms issued by rbi regarding classification of npa(s) and provisioning thereon in respect of NBFCs. a link to the concerned circular is also required.

Latest RBI guidelines in respect of NPA Provisioning are NBFC (Deposit Accepting or Holding) companies prudential norms directions, 2007. The same are also there for non-deposit accepting nbfc's. Also separate guidelines have been issued for Prudential norms on Income Recognition, Asset Classification and Provisioning pertaining to Advances. Following link can be used.
