Proff tax @ 12.6

Dear Professionals

I have been Charged with Proff Tax @ 12.6 on my work done as a contractor . the work was done to a BSF department i have attached the copy of deductions made to bill .. kindly help me on this.

Check your contract for any such deduction.

As such if you submit your professional tax registration copy, the deduction can be reverted.

In any case professional tax cannot be more than rs. 2500/- PA.

Ask for TDS certificates for all such deductions.
