due date for professional tax for a.y 2007-08

Hi, I have Professional Tax No.11003402000454. i M regular P. Tax payer. Recently I went to Bank for payment of Professional Tax and I was advise to get new Professional Tax number. My PAN No. is AABPM6147M. I have tried on all web site but i couldn't find my new number. i don't have sales Tax No. as it is not applied to professional body. kindly guide how to get new number. why Bankers are refusing payment on old numbers. What is last date of payment this year. what is interest & penalty, please reply in detail. Due to technical issue if I fail to pay before due date this time how I can defend my stand, kindly guide me.
