One of the Companies having Headoffice in TamilNadu is planning to open a branch(Distribution Centre) in Andhra Pradesh.
They will get registered under Profession Tax in Tamil Nadu so
ARE THEY REQUIRED TO GET REGIsTERED UNDER PROFESSION TAX IN AP ALSO?

Profession Tax being a revenue of the local administration where the employee is working shall be paid only to the Municipality/ Corporation where the employee is working. so in your case ya you need to get registration in AP. according to shop and establishments act branch has to be registered... so u need to get registration under professional tax in my opinion
