problem is regn. for e filing of IT return ?

Dear Abhishek,

1.  If the assessee is a Firm or HUF or a company, then it is probable that the SURNAMe consists the whole name and in that case the first name and the middle name will be left blank.

2. For individual assessees, to know what name is registered in the Income tax database, you can use the option of " FIND YOUR PAN" or "KNOW YOUR PAN" under the "services" tab.

Its actually the e-payment site, overhere just enter the  required pan no. and also the other details which have a mandatory field. Then wen you click proceed you'll get a notification that the name doesnot match and the actual name would be displayed. Now you enter this name in your registration field and create the user id.

You can register for free on www.taxorigin.com as Professional and you can upload your return through it by logging in and clicking on E-filing Gateway. It does not ask for your username and password

Dear even i am facing this issue of surname while registering for PAN i did not fill surname or might be the person did some mistake my full name is ravishankar krishnamoorthy and in PAN card it shows

K RAVISHANKAR

K SWAMINATHAN 

the below name is of my father Krishnamoorthy Swaminathan , Swaminathan is my grandpas name, now i tried all possibilities but not able to register for efiling.
