this is sonia pursuing exe programme
is their any specific period to preserve the books minutes of meetings be it board meeting or committee thereof or genral meetings ( AGM or EGM).
like in the case of books and accounts and other relevant papers and vouchers to be preserved for atlease 8years, is there any specific period like that in the case of minutes of various meetings
please give your opinions

There is no time limit for minutes and secretarial records. Company needs to keep them for the life time.

Refer section 193 of the companies act,1956
SSI issued by ICSI- minutes of all meetings to be preserved permanently, law is silent
Practically also , i have inspected the minutes of company wherein, it was more than 30 years old..
it is to be kept permanently .......
I think books n accounts include minutes too.
