hello friends,

I have cleared my ca final exam in nov 2011.I currently stay at Ahmedabad. Now I want to do practice. However there is pressure form my family to join any industry and take a job. But I have keen interest in doing practice. Morever recently I have recieved an offer from a practicing CA to join his firm as a partner.

SO what should i Do? At present scenerio what is better option---job or practice? Is it true that if we join industry for 3-4 yrs, it wont be easy to start our own practice? please help.. am very confused.

Dear Parth,

Just answer these questions for yourself and then take a decision forward

What you wanna do in 5 years from now??

If its practice, Just start straight away coz if you wanna come after 3-4 years you will surely not like to leave a lucrative salary you would be drawing at the end of 4th year from now

But then this depends on financially how much independent you are and what the firm which has offered you as partner is paying you.

Well do not join a senior audit firm, coz you will not have anything to experiment.

Join a young and growing firm most likely you join some of your batchmate who is starting a fresh.
