pooja expense will not be come in fbt
these expenses dont come under the purview of FBT
Pooja expenses doesnot come under the ambit of FBT.
Where the Pooja expenses incurred daily, it will not attract the FBT. Howver it is to be incurred any special occution for example saraswathi pooja, in the mean time we have spent more than Rs.5000, then it will be attracted the FBT @ 50%.
ANY EXPENSES INCURRED ON POOJA THAT WILL NOT COVER IN FESTIVAL CLEBRATION AND THIS IS NOT F.B.TABLE EXPENSES. HOWEVER ANY AMOUNT EXPENDED ON A SPICAL OCCASION LIKE DIWALI,I-D,GURU PARV,CRISMAS ETC ARE TAXABLE ON FBT
I think FDT will not come. Only festival celebrations are covered under FBT. Daily pooja exp cannot be construed as festival celebrations.

[Under sec115WB(2)(L) it includes only the festival expenses for the festivals like diwali, christmas. value is 50% ( from As.yr 09-10 it is 20%).]
So anyways the daily pooja expenses will not attract FBT.
