Question: One SSI has registered under service tax today but we have given him a advance a month ago shall we need to give service tax on advance though he haven't been registered that time??

Thanks for reply but I need a legal referance can you please provide me a section or circular for it.
For legal reference, check provisions of ssi, that if anyone is availing ssi exemption then upto 10L no service tax is required to be collected and no cenvat credit will be dealer for production for which ssi exemption taken ie first 10L.
