im going to write module-1 in june 2011....if i get above 50 marks in both GCL AND TAX....
for costing paper with my mba can i get exemption and can i apply for cs final....in august2011...

Hi To avail exemption in costing . you should have to apply for exemption before appearing for CS exam from the institute. You should have to clear the both the modules to appear for final examination. You can appear only in June 2012 for all the modules. You will having a chance to write 2 modules in November 2011exam
As your msg indicates that you have done module 2 and appearing for module 1.
You will not get exemption.to claim you have to finish your MBA before filing form for CS exam.and after showing proof of MBA degree you may ask for exemption.
If you pass both module on 25 august and ger your regestration done upto 31 august only then you can write all 4 module of CS professional in June 2012.otherwise only upto two modules.
As you have asked about CS Final.if you are in old syllabus system than you have autometically switchoverd to new syllabus of CS Professional.

To get exemption in any paper,you have to satisfy both of two conditions:-
1. You have to score at least 60% in the paper in which you are seeking exemption, AND
2. You must have scored at least 25% in all remaining papers of that group.
If you are not able to satisfy any of these conditions(due to any reason) you were not able to get exemption in that paper.As you are unable to appear in COMPANY ACCOUNTS & COST AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING (NOT COSTING ONLY) paper.You cannot get exemption in any paper.It would be better to appear in Paper 2 and score at least 25 in that paper to get exemption in both paper in which you have given your hypothetical marks.
