I am a student appearing for IPCC november 2012 both groups. As this is my first attempt , I, by mistake failed to tick mark the serial number of the questions answered on the cover page ,as per the new format ,of my first paper. I wanted to inquire whether my inability to do so will amount to any negative marking or rejection of my paper.Also if possible , is there any procedure i should follow to correct the same. is it a material mistake

Dear Pranil,
Don't worry about such things... marks will not be deducted for not following the order... but yes, it would make an impression to the examiner while correcting if you follow a particular order..
the examiner definately check ur answer sheet
