Plz Help

Dear Members,

Plz let me know the following issue with respect to Trust/ NGO.

Whether contibution made to trust/ NGO deductible Income tax or approval from CIT is required to avail the deduction?

Whether for availment of dedction registration is mandatory? Kindly do the needful asap.

Generally, contribution to Trust/NGO is considered as non business related expense unless it is specifically related to your business activity so can not be deductible. But if Trust/NGO gives you receipt in which it is mentioned that contribution is eligible for Sec.80G deduction then you can claim deduction u/s 80G
