Efiling of Income Tax Returns Started From Assessment Year 2007-2008 Only. The Processing of those Returns for 2007-2008 were dealt by the Respective Jrisdictional Assessing Officers. The Processing of Efiled Returns Since 2009-2010 were only dealt by CPC Bangalore and Online Rectification is possible only from Assessment Year 2009-2010.
For 2005-2006 assessment , the rectification petition has to be filed before the Jurisdictional Assessing Officer
