BTW, how they were taxed in earlier years and also are they registered under Act?

In the PAN Application, if u go thru the instru. there is mentioned "AOP(Trust)" Page No. 2 in the area document as proof of identity and IN the main PAN Application also Mentioned for status i.e, AOP(Trust). ANd for the purpose of filing of return also it will considered same.
