Just solve all the problems given in the Insti material.. take out the paper which u had attempted in exam and compare it with the problems given in material.. Same to same verbatim probs..

tulsian is a good book....but i would suggest u should get hold of praveen sharma sirs' accounts notes and book cause his notes are very well written and self explanatory....and also his book is kinda exhaustive as it covers all types of questions and also includes past year, study material questions..

Am suggesting his name coz his is the safest bet if u wanna self study within the remaininng time...

all d best...

all your books are good.. but add padhuka or compiler with it... keep on practising and revising... its not that tough..

i have sent an application for revaluation of my Gr - 1 papers. the application has to be sent via speed post to the dehli address but since i have couriered it . kindly let me knew if speed post is mandatory or sending it through the courier is ok?

is your basic accounting concepts are clear? i mean debit credit asset libility and other accounting concepts which we had study in cpt, because they are base for any further accounting study .

if yes then there may be problem of less practice . accounting demands practice. You should practice questions covering all the concepts. but you should not ignore theory  because they tell us what is purpose of any particular accounting treatment. company accounts and as are seeming very important in present scenario so give little more importance to this.

tulsian is good book but you can try padhuka, it has point to point approach.

good luck

if u really want to study smthng very basical and in deep.. go for r.l. gupta... a bit time taking but excellent

Hi Friends,

I have cleared my Chartered Accountant (CA) PE-I exam in November 2004, then I had an attempt for PE-II and I was not able to clear it. Then I was engaged in my job and not be able to repeat the PE-II exam. Now I am planning to go for it. Please suggest me How to move ahead for exam and for which exam i will have to prepare. Can I directly go for IPCC or I will have to start with CPT exam?
