Never misguide anyone:
Well this was the story of a boy named Anil, from Howrah, Kolkata. He was a very decent student. He cleared his secondary and Higher secondary examination with distinction. His father was a commission agent and was also one of the close friends of my dad.
After clearing the class 12 examination with distinction, he was looking for an admission in a good college, but due to the lack of money, he took the admission in a low profiled college.
Anil was a very decent man, with a hardworking attitude. The only deficiency he was having was his mind. His mind was not stable, rather it was distracted.
After completing class-12, he was interested in doing MBA. But for MBA, he has to wait till B.com 2nd year. He was having almost 2 years spare time, so he decided to go for CS.
One day, his father had a discussion on this with my dad and my dad invited them to our house for a lunch and assured him that my elder son i.e. me, would guide him.
On Sunday afternoon, the boy, his father and mother came to our house. I met Anil for the first time. He was a nice guy as described by my Dad.
I started the conversation with anil.
I: in which college you are studying?
He: he gave me the name of the college. It was a very low profile college and was nearer to my house. Attendance was never a compulsion in that college.
I: So what’s next??
He: Thinking of doing MBA?
I: That’s great. But I think you are in B.Com First year, so what will you do for 2 years?
He: I am thinking of doing CS.
I: Wow, that’s really good. Can you tell me anything about the course and about the responsibilities of a CS.?
He: I don’t have any idea about the course. The only thing which I know is since last 4-5 terms, the result of CS is coming really good. So that’s the main reason of my want.
I was shocked to hear the same.
I shouted loudly, what the hell is this? You want to do CS, only by seeing the good percentage of result in last4-5 terms. That’s pathetic.
My dad told me to relax a bit and guide him properly. His mom and dad were very quiet.
Finally his dad spoke, please guide him properly.
I: Uncle, I will definitely guide him, but first of all, he has to change his thinking.
I directly asked Anil, why are you not thinking of doing CA?
He: My cousin brother told me not to do CA, as it is very tough. He is also doing CA and got flunked 4 times in CA Inter (PCC).
I was even more shocked to hear the utter nonsense from the mouth of Anil.
How can someone misguide anyone like this?
(Usse CA nahin hua, to CA tough ho gaya. Kya soch hai. Aur kya soch hai is bande ki, ki uski baat maan li, but iski koi galati nahin hai, isne jo dekha wo maan lia.)
After the discussion, I told anil to pursue CA, because MBA and CA would be a very good combination. i told him to just give the CPT and after IPCC, you will have huge amount of time to pursue MBA.
Finally after the discussion, they left.
After 4-5 days, he came to me with a CPT registration form and I helped him in filling the same.
Today, he cleared his CPT with a fantabulous marks and also pursuing IPCC. He always had the capability; it’s just the matter of thinking that made the difference.
Now he is a very confident boy, and will surely hit the bull’s eye.
By this article, I just want to say……….
“Please don’t misguide any one.”
Please never misguide anyone
