Under which head should income from supervisory work on construction site of building be charged.

If supervisory work is business of assessee and done on a contract basis, then income from supervision is taxable under head PGBP, but if assessee is doing job as full time/ part time employee and employer employee relationship exists then income is chargeable under head Salary

pl. tell me what do you mean by PGBP.
even he is not working as employee, he has just cleared the S.R.A schemes of chawl and now sitting in the office of builder to look in to the matter of chawl - resident.
he wants to file his return. I asked for salary certificate, but his employer wont issue to him such.
he has already returned his file before 5 year as cloth dealer. after that he has not filled his return.
now i am too confused that under which head shall i compute his income.
pl help me regarding this matter.

yes is work done under contract then business income if employer employee relationship exist then income under the head salary.

Show his receipts as business income as file his return
