I have passed in group 1 in ipcc and I know few contacts in one of the big four who can recommend me to get an articleship there but the problem is I have to clear in group 2 as well.
So here are my questions...
1. Should I apply an articleship in small/medium size straight away or should I wait till I complete 2nd group and try the big fours?
2. If I opt to wait for articleship in big four? Will I be able to work in a small/medium size firm w/o registering as an article just to gain experience? (Here my question is will I get a job if I say the truth to my principal about my wait to get articleship in big four? [I really want to be truthful but my friends suggest not being so as I won’t get a job]).
3. Would your answer be the same if person recommending to the big four is not a reliable one? [Doesn’t answer based only on this question any 3]?
