Please Help...Error in DIN Application

submit a fresh application

Fill up the DIN form all over again with correct information and generate new provisional DIN number.

Make payment of this new application.

For non payment of DIN your first DIN application will be cancelled automatically.

if u hv not paid Rs. 100 for it, then file FRESH DIN1 AGAIN with correct DOB...

if u hv paid Rs. 100, then that 100/- cannot be set off..

File FRESH DIN1....

Generate new DIN, pay fee of Rs.100/- and send with attested copies of all relevant documents to MCA.

Even if you paid fee for your old wrong DIN application don't submit wrong DIN application to MCA. However, if you have already submitted your wrong DIN Application with relevant documents to MCA, don't worry. In both the above cases, your wrong DIN Application will be rejected by MCA due to wrong DOB. 

So, in any case you have to generate new DIN. 

I too have a similar problem but with the spelling in my father's last name. I now have two provisional DINs and have paid Rs.100/- to both of them. The first one has the wrong spelling and the second one has the correct. Should I send the second application? I'm worried about this part in the form that says,

"I also confirm that no other application (including physical documents) submitted by me is pending for

allotment of Director Identification Number."

hv u sent the hardcopy of 1st wrong DIN1 for approval ?

If u hv not sent the 1st wrong DIN1 form, then just send the 2nd right DIN1..

But if u hv already sent the 1st wrong DIN1, then wait for its rejection.. check the status online...

Once the wrong form gets rejected, send the 2nd correct DIN1 for approval..

In case, ur wrong DIN1 got approvaed, then after such approval, file DIN4 for correction....

Thank You Adarsh. I have not sent the 1st wrong DIN1. So, going by your message, I'll send the 2nd correct DIN1 to MCA and ignore the 1st wrong DIN1 without taking any futher action on that.
