plz dwld the attachment which is RTP issued by ICAI for May 2010 (PCC)
please look into Question no. 10 (Partnership –Admission cum Retirement) & explain me the working (given in answer) of the motor vehicle taken over by Glad...its depreciation calculation actually..
i think in the following point
(3) Glad on retirement had taken over one of the firm’s motor vehicles and it was
agreed that he should be charged for it at its written down value on the date of his retirement. The vehicle had cost Rs.1,400 and up to 30th September, 2009
depreciation of Rs.625 had been provided on it.
date should be 30th september, 2008..
some one please solve this query and correct me if m wrong!
