I cleared my group I in first attempt I gave my 2 attempt this time for group-II but was unable to clear it, there was a shortfall of 12 marks in aggregate,whereas i was expecting an aggregate of 70-75 in each subject.should i get my papers rechecked?

yes you can recheck your paper with some nominal fees submit to icai

Fees is Rs.100 per peper.

But pls fill the form for may exam.

  • The fee for verification of answer books is Rs. 100/- per paper subject to a maximum of Rs. 400/- for all the papers of a group/ both groups.
  • The application essentially in the candidate’s own handwriting indicating Roll No., address, and paper(s) to be verified should be submitted within a month from the date of declaration of result.
  • Typewritten applications are not entertained.
  • There is no provision for re-valuation of papers.
  • There is no standard application form.
  • Request for verification will be considered only after the application in the candidate’s own handwriting in Hindi language if the medium of examination was Hindi else in English language duly signed with requisite fee by way of DD in favour of the Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and payable at New Delhi is received within one month from the date of declaration of result.
  • The application as above alongwith the requisite DD may be sent to :
  • Sr deputy Director(exams)
  • the institute of chartered accountance of india
  • icai bahvan
  • c.1..sector1
  • noida 201361
  • the above adreess hav been collected by me frm d insitute,,,today onlyy.............so u can rely...if u want to....

Yes if u r confident that you may clear in rechecking then go ahead but pls fill the exam for for may 2011 also.
