I am working with company earning salary around 15000. No PF is deducted by employer. My basic is 11000. Is it mandatory to contribute towards Provident Fund by employer?

It is Optional. If the Employee and the Employer both accepting for to do so, PF contributions can be remitted. But once covered with the PF coverage the payment of contributions cannot be stopped or reduced. Meanwhile as per the authorities of PF organisation, written permission has to take. attribution https://www.citehr.com/82918-pf-mandatory-provident-fund.html#ixzz2mVLEAIh8
Will it be beneficial to contribute to PF?
