I have booked a flat in Noida Extension in April, 2009. I have taken possession from Builder on 31st March, 2017 but Builder has not received Occupancy certificate (OC) till then and later received OC in Jan, 2018. on possession i had to give a indemnity to Builder that future responsibility of law & rules relating to that property will be mine. I have rented out flat on 31st March, 2017 with Notaried agreement for 11 months. Builder has done registry on 10th January, 2018.
What will be period of holding of flat as at 1st April, 2019.

For ant LTCG exemption/s, better to take letter from architect of builder that the building was ready to use as on 31.03.2017.
