Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to declare pension income when filing your Income Tax Return (ITR). It explains that pension received from a former employer, due to the employment relationship, should be shown under the 'salary' head. It is not considered 'other income' and must be declared accordingly.

In other sources
You have to show your pension income under head salary, (As it's received from your former employer as a employees-employer relationship, as a part of employment), it's not your other Income.
