sir is there any penalty (100 for eachday ) for late payment of
august gstr 3b due date today 20/9/2017

Penalty of Rs 100 per day is for late filing of return. Yes it is applicable and till now it has not been waived

There is a penalty of 200 per day. 100 for CGST and 100 for CGST.

FIRST OF ALL IT IS LATE FEE NOT PENALTY. GOVT MAY WAIVE OFF LATE FEE FOR THE MONTH OF AUG,

The late waived on July month only. Not in August and no more notification....
