Yes, u can file the return . no interest or penalty would be leviable if all the due tax had been paid. you can file your return as belated return u/s 139(4) . Do it before 31st March

for AY 2008-09 the last date was 31-03-2009.
ur GTI is well above the exemption limit, so there will be a penalty of rs. 5000 for delay.

Yes, u can file u r return on or before 31-3-2010. then AO didn't impose any penality otherwise he can
