It is learnt that last Thursday i.e on 9/07/09 a meeting was held in the ICAI to decide about the transition scheme for the PE-II and PCC students. Therefore we can surely expect the outcome of the meeting or new notification by tommorrow i.e. Monday.

I THINK ALL OF U R THINKING ABT THE INCRIMENT IN PE - 2 ATTEMPTS, WHICH WILL B ENDED BY THIS JUNE 09 EXAM.
pls post regarding if notification announced.
dont expect extension of PE-II attempts.
last two exams were also extended ones.
and now PCC & IPCC are gonna to be conducted.
so it would upset if extension is expected
it may not possible to extend pe-2 now

Extension is expecting due to the one month delay in the conducting of Exam this time. We PE2 students are in a dilema, whether to convert or not. as we would like to appear Nov 09, if failed in the June 09 attempt. if the PE2 extended one more chance, we will get morale boost, that if failed in June, we should clear the same by Nov 09.
I totally agree with you Krishna.Let's hope the Institute brings cheers for the students of PE II/Inter.If the Institute decides anything about the same please let us know at the earliest.

hope institute give justice to "not so lucky batch- PE-II" i am saying this because students joined C.A before and after PE-II were doing articalship along with Inter .... it was only us ... who had to wait ... now to IPCC will prolong it only
i hope something good will come out
they should allow us to convert to PCC than IPCC
